EUMETSAT and partners point way ahead for satellite altimetry

The Committee on Earth Observing Satellites met in Assmannshausen, near Rüdesheim, Germany, to discuss proposals for continuing satellite-based altimetry for the next 15 years in the clear recognition of the need for a sustainable and long-term vision on the subject.
